The Technical Drafting program is designed to prepare students in the areas of architectural and/or mechanical drafting. Students will have the opportunity to develop basic drafting skills as well as advanced Computer Aided Drafting (C.A.D.) designs. The architectural drafting portion includes an in-depth study of residential architecture and commercial buildings. The mechanical drafting portion includes the study of mechanical detailing and the design of machine processed parts. Students completing the Technical Drafting program will experience advanced preparation for post-secondary education in the fields of drafting, architectural or engineering disciplines as well as placement in technical and competitive career fields.
