In Applied Design students will explore more commericial art projects. Students will be tasked with problem solving in art; such as to improve an invention, create a doll or illustrate a book cover. Projects vary greatly and incorporate approximately a 50/50 ratio of 2-D to 3-D projects. A.D. reinforces the elements and principles of design and applies them practically to problem solve artistic tasks.
