In Speech students will improve communication and public speaking skills. Speech will differentiate between types of speeches such as informational or persuasive. Students will apply techniques that will build over the course starting with a 1 minutes introductory speech and ending with a 6-8 minute persuasive speech which will apply concepts of Aristotle's rhetoric. Students will be better able to understand how to communicate, work in a group setting, organize their thoughts inside and outside of writing and improve public speaking skills.
