I enjoy working with this age group because they are full of energy, creativity, and have a desire to learn (in most cases!) smile   It's never a dull moment with our kiddos!

Awesome Michele....you do a great job.   I too love kids and seeing how they change over the years.

I teach middle school because I love middle level kids, I love our staff and never want to be too serious!   Students are still impressionable and loveable and funny and unique and mature and immature and different everyday.

I love my job ... even though the kids make me crazy some days.   They are kids that are trying so hard to "grow up".   smile   I feel as though I am capable of helping them through this change.   It's mothering with teaching ...lol   I love it!

I love teaching this age-group because  middle school  students accept me for who I am and I think they realize I genuinely care about them.   I think they can tell I love and enjoy math and hope to make it tolerable, if not enjoyable, for them.

I agree with Michele.   I love kids, too.   I also love seeing the progress they make.   All students can learn. I believe this with all my heart.

I teach Middle School because I believe this is the grade level where students experiment with their identity and then sort themselves based on the feedback they recieve to determine what kind of people they will become. I want to be here in Middle School to help redirect students who don't independently recognize and seize their positive opportunities.
